CMS Management

Similar to WordPress, we have built in a lightweight CMS to render monetized pages quickly. The current layout is an opening paragraph followed by an RSOC unit, and then a “ read more” link to expand the rest of the page. Our internal target metrics are 50%+ CTR on the article page. Always modifying the opening paragraph to 3-4 sentences with a bold final sentence is the best way to assure the CTR targets.

Step by Step for Creation

  1. The “Manage Post” Screen will appear. Complete the following:
    1. Post Type = Select Monetized for articles you will advertise and have the monetized layout mentioned above
    2. Topics = Select the topic of the article from the list of topics you previously created
    3. Site = Select the site where the post should be displayed
      • Note, if you have multiple sites, you do not need to make multiple post per site
    4. Countries = If you want to limit the article to a specific country
    5. Language = If the article is written in a specific language you can select here. If you select a language, you only be able to select the article if the ad has the same language selected.
    6. Title = Enter Title of your article
    7. Body = Enter the body of your article. We use an AI generator to do this. The CMS has GPT built into it. Articles must be 500 – 1,000 words
      1. First paragraph typically 3-4 sentences. With the last sentence bolded and your call to action.
      2. Important Note:
        1. The last sentence of the paragraph cannot tell users to directly “click” the ad unit below or to elude to it
        2. A call to action is allowed and a example can be:
          1. “Learn about highly effective treatments to help you control and prevent flea infestations in your dog.”
        3. In addition,  If you are advertising a topic and running a more aggressive angle or claim, please provide a citation at the bottom of the article. Example, “no credit check credit cards” would need 2-3 references at the end of the article
      3. Do not use carriage returns. There should be no blank lines between paragraphs.
      4. Once the article is created, we shorten the first paragraph to 3-4 sentences and change the last sentence to a call to action that is bolded
      5. We will also take out “in conclusion” which typically starts off the last paragraph
      6. You also have the ability to add images to the article, bold, add italics, and emojis to the article
  2. Click the Eyeball in the top right to preview the article to make sure everything looks good
  3. Select PUBLISH

If using chap gpt to draft, proceed with the following steps:
