Campaign Analytics Metric Breakdown
- Sync = Green means the data has properly updated. Hover over to see the last update time. The difference between the two update times is expected and leads to greater accuracy.
- Status = Active, Paused, Deleted. Deleted means the campaign is removed from the traffic source.
- The field is editable. Click the “active” or “paused” button to bring up the edit window. Any Changes will be pushed to the traffic source
- A campaign can only be deleted if it is off

- Campaign Name = The naming convention is built based upon your input. Typically it follows a naming convention like website-topic-termgroup-trafficsource-country-buyer-launchdate-
- Budget = The current budget
- The field is editable. Any Changes will be pushed to the traffic source
- Spend = Traffic Source spend
- Revenue = Adsense Channel Revenue for the campaign
- Profits = Revenue – Spend
- ROI = profit/spend
- g.$click = Google’s reported clicks on the serp page ads. The money generating final click.
- g.rpc = revenue / google $ clicks
- g.pCTR = The click through rate on the first page (landing article page). Target 50%+
- g.CTR = The click through rate on the second page ( serp ad results page). Target 12%+
- s.CPA = CPA based on the traffic source clicks
- t.CPA = True CPA. This takes the campaign spend and divides it by the amount of $g.Clicks.
- s.clicks = $Clicks according to the traffic source rather than Google. Expect some discrepancy.
- RPS = Revenue Per Session is calculated by dividing the revenue by the traffic source clicks.
- Bid = Here you can adjust any the bid of a campaign
- The field is editable. Any Changes will be pushed to the traffic source
- the bid becomes a cost per result goal once you adjust it on the analytics dash
Additional Features

- The empty square on the left is part of the bulk update feature. Select the squares of the campaigns that you want to edit, then click the blue edit button. Once that is clicked, you will be able to edit the status, budget and bids

- In the screen shot above, the icons will do the following:
- Pencil allows users to edit campaign budget, status and bid amount
- middle button is the campaign overview button
- Far right button is a duplication button
- If you scroll to the far right and click the action button, you will see a new section called campaign overview. This will give buyers a closer look at campaign data points
- Inside the overview, you can see data such as purchases/spend per creative, the day over day performance of the campaign, and what the hourly breakdown is for that campaign
- You can also turn ad creatives on or off by adjusting the status switch
- Campaign duplication can be done as well in this section by clicking the green “campaign clone” button
- The “show audit history” button will
- There is an export button as well if you would like to pull this data and store it
- Blue Filter button will bring up a list of filters that you can apply to the campaign data
- You can apply multiple filters at a time
- When selecting the columns button, you can decide what metrics you would like to see

This is the Column Button you are looking for
- Hovering over the campaign name will reveal:
- ad account being used
- terms inside of the term group you picked
- channel ID being used to track revenue
- Hovering over the budget column will show the last time a budget was adjusted and by how much
- If you go to the states column and hover over the green circle, it will show the last time data was updated for that campaign
- time will be displayed in EST
- The cloud that you see in the rows will tell you the last rule that triggered for your campaign
- The orange button that looks like a power symbol is the stand down button. If pressed, rules will deactivate for that campaign for 24 hours

Clone Types
- Quick Clone: Will duplicate the original build right away
- Example: if you hit quick clone on a campaign and that campaign was apart of a build that produced 4 campaigns, you would be launching 4 campaigns, not just the 1
- Ad Account: Will duplicate the build just like it would for quick clone, however you will have the ability to change which ad account it goes in
- Custom Clone: When selecting custom clone, it will bring you back to the campaign builder and allow you to edit the build before you publish again
Hourly RPC
In this section, you can see the over Revenue Per Click (RPC) data by hour. You can view this data to see how RPC’s are performing at certain hours. If you wish to day part for a specific campaign, you can filter for the topic and it will only display data for that topic.
Keyword Analytics
Users will have the ability to select a topic and date range to see which term group they used resulted in the most clicks. It is important to note that this is the clicks from RSOC Unit to the SERP Page.
